1. Bandhavgarh National Park

Bandhavgarh National Park is one of the famous national park, located near Umaria district of Madhya Pradesh. Bandhavgarh was declared as a national park in 1968, with an area of 105 km2. The buffer is spread over the forest divisions of Umaria and Katni and totals 820 km2.

3. Amarkantak

The Amarkantak region is a unique natural heritage area and is the unifying point of the Vindhya and the Satpura Ranges, with the Maikal Hills being the support. It is located near Anuppur district of Madhya Pradesh. The region in the earlier days was believed to be known as the Ayodhya, as mentioned in our Vedas, Puranas that there was an ashram for the saints of Kapil Muni and Rishi Markand.
