Now Driving license will be applied from home

Now Driving license will be applied from home. Now People have no need to go to driving license office and have not used the agents for license. Yes, the driving license will be made at home. Applicant will apply online and they will receive driving test date on the relevant track. After passing the driving test, the person will get license at home.

The government received complaints of massive corruption in Transport Department. The government has done an agreement with a private company that will complete the process of online driving license and final approval will be given by the Sub Division’s SDM.

Transport Secretary Sarabjit Singh said that the process is being processed and new driving license will be issued in coming three months.

The Punjab Transport Department had decided to finish the post of District Transport Officer (DTO) at its first meeting. SDM will be given powers to make licenses instead of District Transport Officer. The Regional Transport Authority (RTA) will be deployed in ten districts for commercial vehicles manufacturing and registration of commercial vehicles.
