CHICKEN CURRY KASHMIRI



INGREDIENTS
1 kg dressed chicken
5 gm ginger
5 gm garlic
2 gm turmeric
10 gm Kashmiri chilli (remove seeds)
5 gm coriander
150 gm onions
5 gm whole garam masala
30 gm oil
60 gm tomatoes
10gm salt
15 gm cashewnuts
15 gm raisins
Method
1. Clean and cut chicken into small pieces
2. Slice half the onion and grind the rest with the masala
3. Smear masala over chicken and set it aside.
4. Heat fat, put in the whole garam masala and sliced onions and fry onions light brown
5. Add chicken and masala and fry well
6. Add blanched and chopped tomatoes and a little water
7. Simmer till chicken is tender
8. Fry dry nuts and garnish.
