5 minute recipe: Desi style Maggi

 Ingredients to make Desi tadka maggi
  • chopped tomatoes 2
  • Chopped onion 1
  • Paste of ginger garlic 1/2 spoon
  • Maggi 1 pkt
  • Salt to taste
  • oil 2 tbsp
  • Garam masala / Pav bhaji masala 1/2 tbsp 
  • Dry Red Chilly 1
  • Green chopped chilly 1
  • Jeera 1/2 tbsp
  • Turmeric,dhaniya powder 1/2 tbsp
  • Sugar little bit
  • Coriander chopped 1/2 cup
Boiling Maggi for Desi style (tadka maar ke)
  • Add 3 Cups of water. Switch ON the stove on high flame. Once water is mild hot It will take about 1 minute, add Maggi, Peas and Maggi Masala tastemaker. We need to let it cook until the water dries up. We will make the Tadka on second stove. 
Giving maggi a desi taste (tadka)
  • Add Oil and heat it on high flame for about 2 minutes. Once hot, add chopped Onions and Green Chili and roast them for 1 minute or until Onions turn pink in colour. As soon as, Onion would turn pink. Add chopped tomatoes and cook for another 1 minute. After 1 minute, add spices Salt, Garam Masala/ Pav Bhaji Masala and Red Chili powder. Mix well and cook for another 1 minute. After 1 minute, the Tadka is ready.

Mixing Maggi and Tadka

  • Maggi would have boiled by now. Mix tadka with Maggi well and switch off the stove. Garnish & serve hot.
