In march this year in a meeting RBI Board had decided to implement the notes of 200 rupees. but Earlier the government was also considering issuing easy to use notes for citizens of India, some reports says that the new notes of 200 will be available in bank only not in ATM's like 10,50 notes circulate, According to a report of Hindustan Times, the RBI has proposed to circulate the new Rs 200 banknotes only through bank branches, similar to the way Rs 50 and Rs 10 notes are circulated. A senior banking official, while speaking to the newspaper, admitted re-calibrating India’s 220,000 machines to enable ATMs for dispensing Rs 200 notes, will take more than a month.these new note of 200 rupees will be released in the next 3-4 months!
