Ingredients
Poha (flattened rice)- 2 cups
Aloo (potatoes)- 2 (chopped)
Onion- 1 (chopped)
Ginger paste- 1/2 tsp
Green chilli paste- 1tsp
Sugar- 1tsp
Salt- as per taste
Lemon juice- 1tbsp
Mustard seeds- 1tsp
Hing (asafoetida)- a pinch
Coriander leaves- 2tbsp (chopped)
Oil- 1tbsp
Aloo (potatoes)- 2 (chopped)
Onion- 1 (chopped)
Ginger paste- 1/2 tsp
Green chilli paste- 1tsp
Sugar- 1tsp
Salt- as per taste
Lemon juice- 1tbsp
Mustard seeds- 1tsp
Hing (asafoetida)- a pinch
Coriander leaves- 2tbsp (chopped)
Oil- 1tbsp
Procedure
1.Wash the poha with water thoroughly and drain the excess water.
2.Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds and hing to it.As the seeds start to splutter, add the onions and fry for 3-4 minutes on medium flame.
3.Then add the ginger and green chilli paste. Cook for a few minutes.
4.Now add in the potatoes and fry for 4-5 minutes on medium flame.
5.Add the washed poha, salt, lemon juice and sugar. Mix well.
6.Cook for another 3-4 minutes till the potatoes are cooked well.Sprinkle the coriander leaves and switch off the flame.Aloo poha is ready to be served.
