1.Chitkul village
Chitkul is a village in Kinnaur district of Himachal pradesh. It is near indo-china boarder. It is the place to view the spectacular snow clad mountains. Main attractions of this village are its houses with either slate or wooden plank roofs, a buddhist temple and a small tower. The powerful Goddess of Chitkul is the only non Buddhist deity to which all people pray. Mathi temple is the local Goddess of the people here.
How to reach
Chitkul is around 569 k.m from north capital of Delhi and 28 k.m from Sangla. There are HRTC buses from Sagla to Chitkul at regular intervals.
2.Langza village:
Langza is small and remote village in Lahaul spiti district of Himachal pradesh. It has huge golden colored Buddhist statue which is believed to be 1000 years old. The main attraction of this village is to collect fossils and to visit monastery. If you are interested in fossils you can do fossil hunt here. If you are passionate about wild life, you can spot here endangered species like snow leopard, Tibetan wolf, Himalayan griffon
How to reach
To reach Langza, one can take a bus from New Delhi or Manali to Kaza and then hire a private vehicle to reach Langza.

3. Komik village:
This village is said to be highest in the world. It has motorable road, and is situated at a towering altitude of around 15,027 ft above sea level. Village Is also famous for Land up Tsemogumpa Buddhist monastery. It is said the monastery has the Matrey Buddha or the future Buddha. Festivals are part of life in the village. Even tourist can enjoy the festivals. For adventure lovers there are lot of opportunities for trekking.
How to reach-
The best way to reach is to hire a private taxi from Kaza. There are generally drastic changes in weather conditions and the depletion of oxygen is one factor which can be extremely hard for first timers.
4.Kaza Village:
it is a remote village in the Spiti valley of Himachal Pradesh surrounded by cold claded mountains on all sides. Silence prevails in the place all times. Here travelers can enjoy stunning views for hours and experience the relax state of mind.
How to reach:
the best way to reach Kaza is by road. The village is located 115 k.m from Manali. It takes 6 hours to come if one travels by hire cab. Another option is bus from Shimla.
5.Malana village:
It is an ancient village , it is situated on remote plateau by the side of Malana river at a height of 2652 mt above sea level. Malana has its own life style and people are strict in following their customs. Malana is also known as little Greece of H.P. The village has ancient temples. Jamlu temple built in the Kathkuni style with wooden carvings and deer heads. Rukmani temple is another temple worth visiting. The wonderful area of Malana is under the huge veil of alpines and outrageous hilly plants.

Delhi -Chandigarh -Bilaspur -Sundernagar -Bajaura -Bhuntar. From Bhuntar, you can take a bus to Kasol which at a distance of 31 k.m . after an hour of journey to Kasol, a place named Jari will come. From there you can hire a taxi to Malana.
6.Mane village
Mane village is said to be most beautiful village in Himachal pradesh.If you want to spend a quite serene time then it is the ideal place .It is located in the Spiti valley of Himachal Pradesh.It is located at the towering altitude of around 9537feet above sea level.Mane has no hotels or restaruants so the best way to stay here is to befriend locals and the spend the night with their families in their house.
How to reach
You can reach to village by hiring a private taxi from Kaza .You have to cross Spiti river .Route is extremely beautiful.
7. Rakcham village
Rakcham is beautiful village to enjoy nature at its best .It is situated just before the Indo Tibet border.You can have greater view of Himalayas here .It is situated on the bank of river Baspa .It has virgin natural beauty. Lovely forests with orchards of apples ,apricots and peaches.It has snow clad mountains all around,lush green teak-wood forests ,fresh atmosphere with deep blue skies. The people are as rugged as the land, and Buddhism prevails alongside Hinduism, a place dotted with Monasteries and Temples.

8. Gada Gushaini
Gda Gushaini is very small but spectacular village in Banjar tehsil of Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh which can leave you ogling. It is a perfect place to unwind summer.Here nature is untouched and unexplored.The splendid beauty of mountains is bedazzling sight.
How to reach
Distance from Delhi 460 km.Several overnight buses availble from Delhi to Mandi.From Mandi you can take bus to Aut.Gushaini is 31 km away from Aut.
9. Kasol village
Kasol village is situated in Parvati valley on the banks of Parvati river in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh. It is located 42 km away from Kullu at the height of 1640 meters from sea level .Manikaran Sahib Gurudwara is just 3 km from Kasol.The Manikaran Sahib Gurudwara has a hot water spring located within the premise of Gurudwara.The devotees take dip to wash away their sins and illnesses away.The langar is delicious.Parvati river is an ideal place for relaxing.One can also indulge in activities like river rafting.
How to reach
There no direct flight or rail connectivity to Kasol. 31 KM away is the Bhuntar airport near Kullu which is nearest airport that connects Kasol to the rest of India.The nearest railway station to Kasol is in Jogindar nagar which is 145 km away from Kasol.

10. Janjehli
it is located in Thunag Tehsil of Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh. It is about 90 k.m from Mandi of an elevation of 2170 meter above sea level. It is surrounded by pine forest and mountains. One of the best places for adventure activities like night safari, hiking, trekking and mountaineering. At the distance of 10 k.m from this village, is the Shikari Mata temple. There are trekking options for this temple from the village. Winter here is very harass and temperature can howel below freezing point and heavy woolen is required.
How to reach
by road, Janjehli is well connected via road with major cities. Buses and taxis are available to and from Janjehli to other cities. The nearest airport is Bhuntar at Kullu. Shimla is nearest railway station.
