What a fantastic finish! Daniel Christian had to hit a four off the last ball but didn't connect. They scampered for a third run but that was never on. A run out and MI are champions! Sensational finish to the season, this. At the halfway stage, most punters would've wagered on RPS clinching their maiden title but the pressure of the big game seems to have got to them. MI kept at it and knew they had good bowlers at the death. Mitchell Johnson had 11 to defend, but getting Tiwary and Smith off successive balls did RPS in.
