Yummy snack: Potato Lollipop



Snacks make every evening more amazing with their delicious taste. In fact, you find your tea incomplete without the company of snacks. Sometimes, you have plenty of time to cook snacks while many times you are in hurry so it is not very easy to cook. For such times, we have a recipe that can be cooked easily. Try potato lollipops. These are the snacks made of potatoes and to be served in the shape of lollipops. You can enjoy these yummy and crispy potato lollipops with ketchup or cheesy dips. Ingredients

For potato lollipop


3 boiled potatoes, 1/2 cup bread crumbs, 1/4 cup onions (finely chopped), 2 tbsp coriander leaves (finely chopped), 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste, 1/4 tsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp coriander powder, 1/2 tsp lemon juice, salt to taste, 2 tbsp all purpose flour/maida, 1/4 cup bread crumbs, 1 tsp Italian seasoning, 1 tsp chilli flakes, oil for deep frying

For dip

3 tbsp mayonnaise, 1/4 cup thick curd, 1 tsp sugar, pinch of salt, pinch of black pepper, 2 tbsp onions (finely chopped), coriander leaves for garnishing

How to make
Take all purpose flour and little water in small bowl and make smooth slurry and keep it aside. In another bowl, mix 1/4 cup bread crumbs, chilli flakes and Italian seasoning and keep it aside. Now grate potato. Add onions, coriander leaves, 1/2 cup bread crumbs, ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, coriander powder, amchur powder and salt. Mix them nicely and make small size balls with no cracks. Now heat the oil at medium heat. Before you fry potato balls, dip them in slurry. Take them out and roll them in bread crumbs. Now roll each ball between your palms so that bread crumbs sticks properly and don't come out while frying. Fry them till they are golden brown.

Make a dip by mixing mayonnaise, yogurt, salt, sugar and onions till they are smooth. Potato lollipops are ready. Garnish them with fine chopped coriander leaves,
