As a waver of gratitude , Gulf Oil India has made our Indian captain the CEO of their company. But wait , he'd stay CEO for only one day.
His old friend Arun Pandey, who manages Dhoni’s commercial interests, confirmed the development, saying that both Dhoni and the company had been trying to fix this ‘special day’ for a long time. “As a CEO of the company for the day, Mahi has attended all the special meetings of the company. He will also take quite a few decisions, just like a real CEO,” Pandey told Sportstar on Monday afternoon.
Before getting geared up in his sports uniform for Rising Pune Super Giants , for the 10th edition of the Indian Premier League , Dhoni decided to switch attires for a day. The former Indian captain reached the company’s headquarters in Mumbai on Monday to work as the CEO. Dressed in corporate attire - blue suit, white shirt, and a tie - the perfect corporate wear.
The company decided to keep the news as a surprise, and most of the employees were in for a shock when they saw the former India captain walking in as the CEO of the day. “Mahi’s association with the company goes back a long way, and for a long time, he also wanted to understand how a corporate CEO works,” his friend Arun Pandey said.
