Bharti Airtel will start offering free data every month for the next 3 months through My Airtel app as part of its new Holiday Surprises offer, the company's CEO Gopal Vittal said in email to customers. The company will offer free data up to 10 GB for one more month for postpaid users who didn't get upto 30GB under Airtel surprises before March 31 via My Airtel app.
"We want your holidays to be even better. So we are sending across an Airtel Surprise for you. Now enjoy some free data every month for the next 3 months. That should cover any long vacation you may have planned. All you need to do is claim your surprise on My Airtel app before April 30th. Go on, create and share more memories with your loved ones all summer long!," Vittal's mail reads.
Furthermore, India's leading telco is also offering best international roaming rates to its travelling customers to ensure that they are protected from bill shocks.
"We want your holidays to be even better. So we are sending across an Airtel Surprise for you. Now enjoy some free data every month for the next 3 months. That should cover any long vacation you may have planned. All you need to do is claim your surprise on My Airtel app before April 30th. Go on, create and share more memories with your loved ones all summer long!," Vittal's mail reads.
Furthermore, India's leading telco is also offering best international roaming rates to its travelling customers to ensure that they are protected from bill shocks.
"The surprises don't end here. Here's the double. If you are planning an international holiday, we have something more for you. We've taken major steps to ensure that you're protected from bill shocks while travelling abroad. We've negotiated with global operators, on your behalf, to get you the best international roaming rates and deliver great value to you," Vittal added.
For instance, if an Airtel customer is traveling to Singapore and hasn't activated any pack. For this destination, Airtel's daily pack costs Rs 499, and includes unlimited incoming calls, free data, SMS and calls to India. If daily usage exceeds Rs 499, Airtel will automatically activate the Rs 499 pack at no added cost.
For instance, if an Airtel customer is traveling to Singapore and hasn't activated any pack. For this destination, Airtel's daily pack costs Rs 499, and includes unlimited incoming calls, free data, SMS and calls to India. If daily usage exceeds Rs 499, Airtel will automatically activate the Rs 499 pack at no added cost.
If usage charges are less than Rs 499, a customer will only be charged based on the rates that are applicable.
