Reliance Jio and Samsung have tied up for a ‘Double Data’ offer where Jio subscribers who buy the Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8+. Under the ‘Double Data’ offer, Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ customers who are on Jio network will be provided with 448GB of 4G data over a course of 8 months if they complete the monthly recharge of Rs. 309. The offer essentially gives the users 2GB of 4G data per day. The Jio Double Data offer gives double the data benefits which Jio users get under the Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan offer if they buy the latest Samsung Galaxy S8 or Samsung Galaxy S8+.
They will be rewarded with 56GB data with the Rs. 309 plan for 28 days for eight months, which translates to 448GB for eight months.
Samsung announced Galaxy S8 and S8+ earlier at Rs. 57,900 and Rs. 64,900 respectively. Let's check the specs, Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ feature 5.8-inch and 6.2-inch Infinity Displays and are powered by company's own Exynos 8895 processors. Samsung has trimmed down on bezels by dropping the front mounted home button and moving the fingerprint sensor to the back. The smartphones comes with 4GB RAM, 64GB storage and support for expandable storage up to 256GB. Both feature 12MP rear camera with Dual Pixel technology, f/1.7 aperture lens and optical image stabilisation. The front camera has been bumped to 8MP with f/1.7 aperture.
