Happiest places in the world!

Well, who doesn't want to be happy. Yes, all want to be in a happy place and live happily ever after.... As the world over observes World Health Day with the theme 'Depression: Let's talk about it', Depression is a serious lifestyle issue that many go through at least at one point of time. But there are ways to fight the blues. Travelling is one. So, let's find out some happy places to travel to as RL Stevenson says: "Find out where joy resides, and give it a voice far beyond singing...".
The World Happiness Report did find out the happiest land in the world year after year since 2012. The findings of the fifth annual report points to Singapore, the sunny island set in the sea, as the happiest country in Asia. And, Norway, which was in fourth place in 2016, is the happiest country in the world this year.
Singapore is followed by Thailand, Taiwan, Malaysia, Japan, South Korea and Hong Kong. Philippines, China, Pakistan and Indonesia also come under the category of happy countries in Asian region.
The World Happiness Report 2017 ranks 155 countries by their happiness levels, The report was released at the UN by the Sustainable Development Solutions Network on March 20, the International Day of Happiness.
Factors that determine happiness, according to the report, include economic matters like income and employment, social factors like education and family life, and health issues. The report states that in every country, physical health is important, but in no country is it more important than mental health.
All of the top four countries are high on all the main happiness factors: Income, caring, freedom, generosity, honesty, health and good governance, the report stated.
