Foods That Are Actually Poisonous – part of our daily diets

Humans have evolved from being cavemen to now, an ultra modern and extremely developed species. There are lots of things in this modern world that we fear of but we consider our vegetables and fruits the safest and healthiest. So you may be surprised to hear many veggies and fruits that we eat everyday are actually very poisonous if not consumed with proper precautions.
#1 Apples
One of the most popular fruits of the world. Apple trees can grow in different climates and so are found all around world. Apple seeds are clustered in the form of a core , they contain a stuff called amygdalin, which is loaded with cyanide ,a lethal poison. seeds from 1 apple contains non-significant amount of cyanide, however ingesting over 20 apple cores is dangerous
#2 Almonds
Almonds are wonderful source of vitamin E, fibre and healthy fats. There are two varieties of almonds, sweet almonds and bitter almonds. The sweet almonds are safe to eat. Bitter almonds that are grown in the wild, contain high levels of cyanide which can be lethal when ingested if 10-70 wild bitter are taken at a time
#3 Tomatoes
Tomatoes have a lot of vitamin and nutritional content. It is almost a part of every meal preparation and even eaten raw in salads. Nevertheless, the other parts of the plant, the leaves, roots and stalk contain the toxic compound known as tomatine,which is toxic if ingested
#4 Potatoes
The toxin in potato is not as deadly. If potato too long they develop sprouts, that facilitates development of the toxin. Glycoalkaloids. Avoid potatoes that are with greenish tinge
#5 Raw Cashews
Raw cashews ,are not actually raw, as they are steamed to remove the urushiol, a toxin also found in poison ivy. This chemical can cause the same effect as poison ivy, or poison oak. Consuming this chemical leads to similar effects to poison
