Be Happy And Make Others Also Happy

Lord Krishna taught Arjuna about the importance of knowledgeable people. But, it became necessary for Arjuna to know the characteristics of those people.

Lord Krishna says that the people who are knowledgeable have no arrogance, no feeling of greatness, no pride, no intention to hurt other creatures. They have the quality of forgiveness and are very much polite in nature so that others may not be hurt. They have a nature to respect teachers and seniors devotedly. They have a control over their mind and sensory organs. Most importantly, purity of outer as well as inner-self, it indicates their cleanliness of body and thoughts.

To get food by the right way of earnings, respectable behaviour towards anyone and purification of the body by water or other products, is called as the purity of outer-self. Similarly, eliminating anger, jealousy, cheating, and a clear heart, are the signs of a pure inner-self.

Lord Krishna further says that the knowledgeable people are the ones who do not get  involved much in worldly pleasures and do not even wish for them . They do not always think about life, illness and death. Trying to find demerits in others is a common thing, but knowledgeable people do not always do that.

In Modern Context:

We always meet a lot of people in our daily lives with different behavioural traits. As a person of the society, we have to deal with them either heartedly or superficially.

It also requires knowledge for conducting ourselves properly in a gathering. There are people who are cheerful in all the conditions and make others also happy by their joyous ways. They themselves might be having a lot of problems, but they do not show it in front of others to gain sympathy or make others also feel sorry. It is because they are knowledgeable about the life conditions. Such people usually have a lot of admirers and eventually possess a higher happiness quotient.

On the other hand, there are also a lot of people who are always in a sad mood. They do not understand the relevance of the different places or situations. They always talk about negative things and also do not want to see others happy due to their own ill-hearted nature. They are unknowledgeable people because of impurity in their hearts. They always try to speak bad things about others and in return, people start trying to avoid them.

So, it is always advisable to  have positive thoughts and surround yourself with optimistic people.
